Hari ini nak reviu sikit pasal Hikayat Merong Mahawangsa
Plot cerita dia simple...
Rome nak kahwinkan puteranya dengan puteri China. Kedua-dua tempat ini akan bertemu di sebuah tempat di 'Golden Chersonese'. Rombongan dari Rome musnah ditelan laut, kecuali Putera Marcus dan Lycius. Mereka terpaksa mendarat di Goa.
Oleh kerana rombongan Rom ini tidak boleh bayar cash, kerana emas habis ditelan laut, mereka diperkenalkan oleh seorang pedagang kepada 'banduan' Merong Mahawangsa yang telah memenangi perlawanan (fight).
Dipendekkan cerita Merong Mahawangsa terpaksa amik job ini selepas diberi ultimatum 'sama ada pergi dengan orang Rom, atau pergi tanpa nyawa' oleh pedagang Goa tersebut.
Marcus, dan Merong Mahawangsa pergi ke Semenanjung tanpa Lycius. Lycius tinggal di Goa menantikan shipment kedua dari Rom.
